Welcome to Basecamp Diaries! (Now called Home & Habitat Journal!)

If we have a personal connection, you may have noticed my unwavering passion for blogging, which has been somewhat a constant throughout my life. Over the years I have explored various themes, from capturing the minutiae of daily life to delving into niche topics.

Currently, my other blog focuses on documenting my adventures, birding, and photography. Pursuits that bring me immense joy and fulfillment. However, as I embark on new journeys in my life, such as the exciting (and stressful) adventure of home ownership, the joys of urban gardening, backyard birding, and slowly figuring out what my “new normal” looks like within the blogging and social media space (as I have pretty much kept a very low profile since early 2020).

Through this platform, I hope to share my thoughts and musings on the trials and triumphs of home ownership, the joys of cultivating a thriving garden and wildlife friendly habitat in an urban environment, backyard birding, DIY projects, hobbies, and personal reflections on the ups and downs of life itself. There will also be no shortage of photography!

Rest assured, my other blog will continue to be active as I continue my outdoor adventures, but I am stoked to have another space that can capture all of these experiences, and where I can fully express all the other facets of my life in one place.
