Yardwork:
- The clover is starting to come up.
- We have finally removed all the gravel and landscape fabric. We still need to decide what to do with about 25 gallons of gravel, but at least we can move on to the next part of the yard.
- To use up some of the random materials we cleared out of our yard, we built a platform for our hammock. We’ll be adding wood tiles on top to give it a more polished look (and less paved over). This was also a great project to use up of some of the hundreds of rocks we have.
- Cleared out the side of the garage and laid down the sidewalk blocks and bricks we found to create a patio space and a place for a potting table. I still need to level the flower bed and add sand between the blocks, but it’s already a huge improvement. I don’t think I’ve ever been so filthy!

Gardening:
- Harvested another bowl of fresh romaine lettuce.
- Our peas are starting to bloom.
- The garden is looking really nice!

Fauna:
- Spotted a butterfly in our garden.
