WORK WITH ME

Hello, I am Tracey–A birdwatching, plant-loving, thrift-hunting homebody living in Edmonton, Alberta, where nature seamlessly weaves through my space. I am rewilding my small city yard into a thriving wildlife habitat—where Alberta native plants bloom, birds gather, and nature finds a home amid the city’s quiet hum. Indoors, I am slowly transforming my home into a reflection of that same quiet magic: a space where comfort meets creativity, where thrifted treasures blend with natural textures, and where every corner tells a story rooted in place and purpose.

At Home & Habitat Journal, I share the slow, intentional transformation of my yard and home. Through storytelling, photography, seasonal observations, and hands-on projects, I invite others to reimagine what “home” can be—not just for us, but for the wild things that share it. From backyard birdwatching and native gardening to secondhand finds and quiet rituals, this space is grounded in nature, creativity, and connection.
